What is True Hope Community?
We are a community of families, friends and individuals dealing with recovery from substance use, mental health challenges - and life. We offer acceptance, support and a safe place to experience community. Sundays, we get together for music, stories, prayer and an inspirational talk. Following the gathering, we offer a variety of support and recovery groups NOT AVAILABLE DURING COVID19 STAY AT HOME ORDER. The groups are safe, welcoming gatherings with open discussion focused on recovery and support. A free buffet-style lunch is provided during the group time NOT AVAILABLE DURING COVID19 STAY AT HOME ORDER.
Who is True Hope Community For?
Parents, siblings and friends of individuals in recovery, especially from substance use and/or mental health challenges and just life: We are here to support you! Life is hard and you need a caring community to support you while you support your loved one(s). Recovery and support groups after the Sunday gathering are appropriate for youth 16 and up. Childcare available upon request for younger siblings.
People in recovery, especially from substance use and/or mental health challenges and just life: Whether you're clean and sober, entering recovery or somewhere in between, this place is for you!
True Hope Groups
A variety of support and discussion groups are offered on Sundays following the gathering. These are open sharing support and recovery, exploring faith, and practical groups.
Sunday Recovery and Support Group - This group provides a faith-based, hope oriented approach.
Sunday Parent/Family Support Group - This group provides a safe place to share your story, receive encouragement and support, and find hope for the journey.
